Using sparklers safely
Sparklers reach very high temperatures, so a little care keeps everyone safe and happy.
- Only ever hold one sparkler at a time, at arm's length, wearing gloves where possible.
- Never give a sparkler to a child under five, and always supervise older children.
- Light sparklers one at a time and drop finished ones straight into a bucket of water.
