Barrages
Barrages, often called cakes, are the workhorse of a modern display. A single fuse fires a whole sequence of aerial effects, making them the easiest way to create an impressive show. Our barrage range covers compact garden cakes through to larger multi-shot pieces. Reserve online and pay in store on collection in Weeley, Essex.
Category Introduction
If you want maximum impact from a single firework, a barrage — or cake — is the answer. One fuse sets off a choreographed run of effects, so you get a complete mini-display with very little setup.
Buying Guide
Choosing a barrage
Barrages are usually described by their number of shots. More shots generally means a longer, fuller sequence, while compact cakes suit smaller gardens.
- Higher-shot barrages make a natural centrepiece or finale.
- Combine two or three smaller barrages to build a display without single-ignite fireworks.
- Always check the safety distance printed on the cake and secure it on firm, level ground.
Barrages work well alongside rockets for height and fountains for ground-level colour. Please read our Firework Safety advice first. Challenge 25 applies on collection at our Weeley collection point.
