Fireworks for Diwali celebrations

Diwali displays often focus on colour and light rather than noise, and can suit gardens of different sizes. Popular choices include:

  • Fountains — ground-based effects that produce showers of sparks and colour, well suited to family celebrations.
  • Sparklers — a hand-held favourite that fits the spirit of the festival of lights.
  • Roman candles — fire a sequence of coloured stars into the air.
  • Rockets and barrages — for those who want a larger aerial display.

Celebrating considerately

Because Diwali does not always fall on a date with extended permitted hours, please check the current rules on when fireworks may be used before you plan your display. If you have neighbours nearby, letting them know in advance is a considerate step. Read our Firework Safety page for guidance on safe set-up, lighting and disposal.

Age-restricted product
Fireworks are age-restricted. We operate a Challenge 25 policy, so if you look under 25 you will be asked for valid photo ID when you collect. See our Age Restricted Sales policy for accepted forms of identification.
